I'M BACK!

(and I'm sorry)

For those of you that follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you may have noticed that everything is going (excitingly) as always, and that it's actually fashion week season again for me. For those of YOU that came only to CHICMUSE,  I owe you a sincere apology for the sudden absence these past couple of months. Apart from the continuing summer traveling, there were, and will be, many exciting and new things happening at the moment, like the AMAZING fact that I WILL BE NOW LIVING between NEW YORK and PARIS.

I can't wait to share lots of news with you and to tell you exactly what I'm up to for the next months.

I've found shoe love again,  and also a perfect replacement of THOSE Prada sandals you saw many times at Chicmuse. These Alaïa's are completely stylish and yet feel so provocative.

I arrived to Milan today for the Fashion Week,  and right now I'm posting this in between shows. 

(I just finished attending the Gucci show, pure Italian glamour!)

In a visit to Topshop during NY Fashion week, I instantly picked this sequined crop top. It feels too easy to use and I wanted to try it first on the more summery, laid back NY feeling. 

 Lately attracted to get sequins together with very raw fabrics, denim is a favorite.

Writing from Milan now, and getting on a plane to Paris soon. Fashion month is almost over!

MILAN, 19.09.14

Alessandra Facchinetti,creative director of the Tod's RTW line,  surprised us again with a sharp and neat collection for the italian maison. While Tod's DNA use of leather is usually seen in their iconic Gomino's and bags, Facchinetti is now directing the clothing line towards another level, with the creation of the new collection in the same materials as the Tod's icon pieces. 

New to the brand, Tod's presented the new accessories collection int this SS15 runwway. Statement arm cuffs, earings and necklaces that complete and give an air of more sophistication to the Tod's persona.

Looking forward whats coming next season already!

NEWS: Since this September, I have become an official monthly contributor to Harper's Bazaar in Spanish (Mexico and Latin America. 

Since this summer, apart from all the projects I've been working on through Chicmuse, I have also started documenting and capturing extra material for my personal page on the magazine. I was extremely excited to start this partnership with the Harper's Bazaar family for their September Issue, and even more during this exciting time since the magazine is celebrating its 35th Anniversary.

A partir de este verano, aunado a los proyectos en los que normalmente trabajo por medio de Chicmuse, también comencé a capturar y documentar mi vida y proyectos en el mundo de la moda, para poderlos traducir en mi contribución a la revista. 

Ha sido una gran emoción el poder empezar esta asociación con la familia de Harper's Bazaar en el número de Septiembre, y aún más, por el hecho de que Harper's Bazaar México celebra su 35 aniversario.

Estoy muy feliz por esta contribución y de poder plasmar mi experiencia de todos los lugares y eventos que me lleve la industria de la moda, así como de representar y apoyar a mi querido país. I'm officially back in New York City, and right now I'm writing from my apartment in Chelsea.

During Paris Fashion week, I was glad to take part in the SocialEyesStudio project organized by the Safilo group. This time, I wore these amazing DiorMetallic sunglasses, and couldn't stop wearing them throughout all the Fashion Week. The mirrored top makes it absolutely futuristic and sharp.

A few months ago, I shot in Milano the newest collaboration of Hollywood Trading Company- HTC and 7 for all mankind.  The concept was the Rock and Roll feeling embodied in the newest pieces of the collection. From the easy-wear DNA of 7 for all mankind to the edgy rock and roll HTC one, the collection resulted on perfect mix of both.

I've been collecting onesies without noticing it at all. Are you already? It's probably that attraction of feeling uniformed and just because its too easy to throw them on. This Topshop one is on the edge of looking like a cool cowboy and/or  the gas man. Still too useful for NYC and a morning on the rooftop.

Hello! 

I can't describe well that sinking feeling from yesterday, when I dropped my iPhone in the water. Has it ever happened to you? It's now drying in a bowl with rice an hopefully it will turn on again today! I appreciate if you have other suggestions to share! 

Gladly wearing a tee for today's look, while weather allows it here in NYC. I'm honestly a little concerned that weather gets MUCH more colder than in Paris.

Beginning November with the best mood! 

As a monthly contributor and insider to Harper's Bazaar in Spanish, this November I decided to show some of my favorite spots in New York City, as I'm quickly trying to incorporate my life into that of a New Yorker one. 

Some of my favorite spots include the Baby Grand for a relaxing chat and a nice cocktail on a thursday night; the new and delicious Cosme restaurant , opened by the amazing mexican chef Enrique Olvera; and a rooftop view from the Big Apple. 

Go grab it if you can!

¡Empezando Noviembre con el mejor espíritu!

Como contribuidora mensual para Harper's Bazaar en Español, este mes de Noviembre he decidido mostrarles algunos de mis nuevos lugares favoritos en Nueva York, pues me estoy tratando de acostumbrar rápidamente a este paso de la vida neoyorquina. 

En este número, recomiendo el "Baby Grand" en Soho para una plática relajante y un buen coctél por un jueves por la noche, o el nuevo y delicioso restaurante de nuestro renombrado chef mexicano Enrique Olvera: Cosme. También la vista de un rooftop que hipnotiza por la noche!

This is the look I wore for the Rochas show this Paris Fashion Week.  
Although at first the look reminded me of a kimono inspired outfit, these Dior sunglasses made it a much more futuristic and exotic japanase ensemble. This time the red pop on the lips wasn't just enough, so I decided to take it to the next level. A red passionate one.
